cause i fancied pancakes.

Method

sifted the flour, baking powder, salt and caster sugar into a big bowl. i whisked the milk and egg together in a different jug and then slowly whisked the butter in. i poured the milk mixture into the flour using a fork and mix until i had a smooth batter. i heated an large non-stick pan with butter and then i put 2 tbsp of the pancake butter into small circles. i waited until the top of the pancakes started to bubble and then flipped it over and then waited for each side to turn golden brown. i plated the pancakes on top of each other and placed a small square of butter on it then topped it all off with maple syrup.
Once i had made that one i made a few more and placed bananas on the side of the dish. i used a handful of blueberries and sprinkled them over it, i topped it all of with some golden syrup.

Ingredients

135g plain flour, 1 tbsp baking powder, 1/2 tbsp salt, 2 tbsp caster sugar, 130ml milk, 1 large egg, 2 tbsp melted butter. maple syrup and butter, blueberries and bananas to serve.
