Autumnal Mixed Berry and Pear Crumble in a Cup

I have always been a big fan of a crumble and find it a very warming autumn/winter dessert and I saw an idea similar to this online and I loved how it looked in the china mug so I thought I would have a go myself.

Method

1. Peel the pear,
2. Pour 100ml boiling water into the cup. Cover loosely with clingfilm. Put the cup in the microwave and cook on full power (about 800 watts) for 2 minutes or until the pear is just slightly undercooked.

3. Preheat the oven to 200°C, fan 180°C, gas 6. Carefully remove the clingfilm,and then stuff your fresh fruit around your pear in your oven proof cup,sprinkling then layers or caster sugar over the fruit as you go.
4. Rub the butter and flour together with your fingers to resemble breadcrumbs, then stir in the sugar. Scatter the crumble around the pear so that the top still protrudes. Put on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 mins until golden and bubbling.

Fresh Blackberries and raspberries
30g cold unsalted butter, cubed
60g plain flour
2 tbsp demerara sugar
1 large pear
100ml boiling water
