Oven baked sticky chicken and spicy potato wedges

Method

Oven baked sticky chicken

- Pat the chicken dry with paper towel and cut few slashes in each drumstick. Put the chicken in a shallow bowl and wash your hands well.

- Crush Garlic in to small bowl. Add oil, soy sauce, vinegar, honey, and five spices. Mix everything together

- Pour half of the mixture over the chicken and mix. Cover the dish and leave at room temperature for 15 minutes

- Heat the oven for 190c or has mark 5 and line the roasting tray with kitchen foil. Put on the chicken pieces and put in the oven

- Bake for 25 minutes. Take the tray out of the oven and put on half of the remaining sauce mixture over r and bake for another 10 minutes.

- Take out the tray out of the oven again and put on the rest of the sauce mixture over it. Bake for another 10 minutes

Spicy potato wedges

- Heat the oven for 200c

- Wash the potatoes well or peel the potatoes if they are muddy

- Cut the potatoes in half and then half again in to wedges until they are not thicker than 2cm.

- Put the oil on the baking tray. Mix the wedges around to coat them in oil and cook for 20 to 30 minutes until soft and golden

- Mix the paprika, chilli and a pinch of salt in a small bowl and sprinkle all over the wedges
